"long_description": "Mezmo, formerly LogDNA, is an observability platform to manage and take action on your data. It ingests, processes, and routes log data to fuel enterprise-level application development and delivery, security, and compliance use cases.\r\n\r\nMezmo was brought to life by three-time co-founders Chris Nguyen and Lee Liu and included in the Winter 2015 batch of Y Combinator. In 2018 the company partnered with tech giant, IBM, to become the sole logging provider for IBM Cloud.\r\n\r\nMezmo is on a mission to empower people who build solutions that shape the world. We’re doing this by delivering a platform that enables enterprises to get more value from their observability data in real time, regardless of source, destination, use case, or scale. We’re not the only ones working on this problem but we have a few things the others don’t.\r\n\r\nWe’re cloud-native and know how to make the most of modern technology like Kubernetes.\r\nWe have scaled a solution from zero to petabyte scale in a short amount of time, while supporting thousands of active users across multiple environments.\r\nWe are hungry for change and are surrounded by enterprises telling us they’re hungry, too.\r\nWe have a kick-ass group of people who are thinking about the problem analytically and are excited to change the observability world for the better.\r\nMezmo has helped some of the world’s most innovative companies transform how they manage their systems and applications. Still, we know that we can help them get more value from their observability data by providing more flexibility and control over how they use it. This will enable teams to spend less time switching between data silos so they can focus on shipping better, more resilient, and secure products.\r\n\r\nWe have momentum on our side. Last year we saw triple digit revenue growth and added 800 new customers to our roster. Recent accolades include being named to YC’s Top Companies, CRN’s 10 Hottest DevOps Startups, and EMA’s Top 3 Observability Platforms.\r\n",

"tagline": "Ridiculously simple way to catch API contract breakages before merging code",
"body": "Hey everyone! We’re [Arjun](https://www.linkedin.com/in/arjun-iyer-916332/) and [Anirudh](https://www.linkedin.com/in/anirudhrx/), co-founders of [Signadot](https://www.signadot.com/) and we’re simplifying the lives of developers building distributed cloud native applications.\n\n# **🎯tl;dr**\n\nSmartTests automatically catch breaking API changes in microservices without writing contracts or maintaining mocks. AI compares your new code against baseline behavior using real traffic and only flags changes that actually matter.\n\nDemo video: https://youtu.be/HHGgSKk2K_k\n\n# ❗️Problem\n\nMicroservices break each other all the time. A team changes their API response format, and suddenly three downstream services start failing in production. The usual solution is contract testing, but here's the reality: most teams either skip it entirely or abandon it after a few months.\n\nWhy? Current tools put the entire burden on developers. You have to write consumer contracts for every API interaction, maintain mock servers, and keep updating tests every time contracts change. It's exhausting busywork that pulls focus from shipping features. Teams know they should do it, but the tooling makes it feel like a second job.\n\n# **💡** Solution\n\nSmartTests flip the script on contract testing. Instead of forcing developers to predict every possible breaking change, we observe real API interactions and automatically catch contract violations. Write a simple test in Starlark, and our AI compares baseline behavior against your changes to spot what actually matters.\n\nNo mock servers to maintain. No contract files to update. No noise about irrelevant changes. Just fast, accurate feedback in your PRs that tells you when you're about to break something downstream.\n\n# 🏃How does it work?\n\nWhen you push code, SmartTests spin up lightweight sandboxes in your Kubernetes cluster and run your test scripts against both the new version and the baseline. These aren't mocked interactions—they're real API calls hitting real services in isolated environments.\n\nThe magic happens in the comparison. Our AI analyzes the responses from both versions and figures out which differences actually matter. Did you add a new optional field? Probably fine. Did you change a required field's data type? That's going to break things. The AI surfaces only the changes that could affect downstream services, so you get signal instead of noise.\n\n![uploaded image](/media/?type=post&id=90673&key=user_uploads/47401/298831aa-1812-4117-8461-1a77db646e8c)\n\n# **💯** Why did we build this?\n\nWe kept hearing the same story from engineering teams: \"We tried existing tools, but it was too much work to maintain.\" When developers abandon tools that should make their lives easier, the tool is the problem, not the developers.\n\nThe breaking point was talking to a team at a Series B company who had spent three months setting up comprehensive Pact tests, only to disable them six months later because they couldn't keep up with the maintenance burden. That's when I realized we needed to completely rethink the approach—AI could handle the heavy lifting leaving developers to focus on what they do best: building great software.\n\n# 👍 How do I get access?\n\nJust sign up using https://www.signadot.com/ and try our [Quickstart](https://www.signadot.com/docs/tutorials/quickstart/contract-testing) guide. "body": "**tl;dr**: If you’re running microservices, you can now use Signadot to help developers ship features faster using lightweight dev environments. These environments spin up in seconds within a Kubernetes cluster **that you run** and scale well across hundreds of developers and microservices without incurring large infrastructure costs or maintenance burdens. These environments are built on top of “Sandboxes”, a new approach that is used in companies like [**Uber**](https://www.uber.com/blog/simplifying-developer-testing-through-slate/) and [**Lyft**](https://eng.lyft.com/scaling-productivity-on-microservices-at-lyft-part-3-extending-our-envoy-mesh-with-staging-fdaafafca82f) and we’re excited to make that available to everyone.\n\nWe launched about a year ago, with a focus on preview & test environments in Kubernetes. With our latest update, we’re adding the following new capabilities:\n\n* Developers can now run the **dev version of a microservice on their laptop** and seamlessly connect it to a shared Kubernetes cluster and start testing as though the whole application were running locally. They get 10x faster feedback by testing their changes in a live Kubernetes environment during active development. \n* Multiple such dev environments can be combined together to **test different microservices with each other** as they're being developed. This means developers can collaborate and get a feature spanning different microservices working end-to-end long before their code gets merged or hits a staging/production environment.\n\n### **How does it work?**\n\nJust as before, we use request routing (using a Service Mesh like [**Istio**](https://istio.io/) or a sidecar-based system that we built) to isolate these environments from one another in a shared Kubernetes cluster.\n\n![](https://ph-files.imgix.net/f5efe69b-ed3c-4306-af3e-c5d757877d7a.png?auto=compress&codec=mozjpeg&cs=strip&auto=format&fit=max)\n\nRead more about our launch [**here**](https://www.signadot.com/blog/bridging-the-gap-local-testing-in-shared-kubernetes-clusters), or watch a video of how teams use these dev environments here: [**https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXUmPJTdwm0**](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXUmPJTdwm0\\*\\*)\n\n### **How do I get access**\n\nJust sign up using [**https://www.signadot.com/signup**](https://www.signadot.com/signup\\*\\*) and try one of our [**quickstart**](https://www.signadot.com/docs/quickstart) guides. "tagline": "Spin up lightweight environments to enable pre-merge testing for microservices. Discover issues before merging code and ship new features faster.",
"body": "### 😎 **TL;DR**\n\nWe’re building a Kubernetes-based solution that enables environments, called Sandboxes, to test your microservices early in the development lifecycle. Unlike traditional environments, Sandboxes are lightweight and spin up in seconds. This makes it cost-effective to create test environments for every pull request, branch, and commit.\n\n### 🤔 **The problem with traditional environments**\n\nMost engineering teams use pre-production environments, called staging environments, to test against real-world conditions. However, testing on staging introduces the following challenges:\n\n1. Staging environments are typically shared among engineering teams and regressions introduced here block other developers. This results in frequent roll backs to unblock others.\n2. Since commits from various teams are co-mingled on staging, breakages take a long time to troubleshoot and fix. As the engineering team grows, this problem only gets worse and development slows down.\n\n### **😅 Enter Signadot**\n\nWith Signadot, DevOps teams can set up lightweight environments, called Sandboxes, that can be used to test each pull request/commit. Teams run a suite of integration and end-to-end tests for each PR without impacting others. This helps find issues early that would otherwise be found in staging (or worse … in production!).\n\nOur CLI/YAML integrates with CI pipelines to automate the testing of Pull Requests. As shown in the image below, Sandboxes encapsulate “services-under-test” connected to other dependencies running in Kubernetes. Sandboxes are lightweight to spin up and cost-efficient at scale.\n\n![uploaded image](/media/?type=post&id=65752&key=user_uploads/47401/edb398f0-819b-43f3-9152-9ba015164069)\n\n### **🤓 How this helps your team:**\n\n* Minimize rollbacks on staging and production\n* Increase the frequency of production deployments\n* Save on infrastructure costs using lightweight Sandboxes\n\n### **🤩 Try us out!**\n\n1. "body": "[**Release**](https://release.com) helps developers get their amazing ideas out into the world faster. 🚀 When it comes to developers, DevOps has turned into an additional hurdle on the path to delivering product features. Originally, DevOps was meant to empower developers with operational tasks, but instead, it evolved into a team that controls access and holds the keys to the information and systems needed to deploy and release quickly. \n\n📣 In every organization, a handful of exceptional DevOps 👨‍💻 engineers become the oracles of knowledge and the entire team relies heavily on their expertise. However, reliance on a few go-to experts inevitably becomes a bottleneck on the team's speed and ability to ship. Don’t you wish you had your expert DevOps engineer on a speed-dial, without actually bugging them? \n\n🤖 Introducing **Release AI**—a powerful tool that allows anyone using the Release CLI to get go-to DevOps engineers’ answers, without tying up the experts’ time. Developed with developers and engineers in mind, Release AI extends the capabilities of OpenAI's GPT-4 public LLM with our extensive expertise in DevOps, providing you with relevant context, control, and content tailored to your organization's unique needs.\n\n👷‍♂️ In its initial phase, Release AI provides \"read-only\" access to both AWS and Kubernetes. This lets you engage in meaningful conversations with your AWS account and your K8s infrastructure. Looking forward, we plan to add more tools for commonly used systems, along with the introduction of write access, which will allow you to automate an even broader range of your 🤹‍♀️ daily tasks.\n\nHere are some examples of what you can do with Release AI:\n\n🐳 **Talk to your Kubernetes clusters**\n\n![uploaded image](/media/?type=post&id=74153&key=user_uploads/423512/d5b71075-1a25-4f12-a49f-0a95aa14d4c9)\n\n🧑‍💻 **Talk to your AWS infrastructure**\n\n![uploaded image](/media/?type=post&id=74153&key=user_uploads/423512/9fcdd298-b284-4fdc-96d9-f33eed3d2dab)\n\n💰 **Keep track of your AWS spend**\n\n![uploaded image](/media/?type=post&id=74153&key=user_uploads/423512/8a11fe73-1851-4908-b27c-43bd5a57d9fb)\n\n⏰ **Create Cron Jobs and Reminders**\n\n![uploaded image](/media/?type=post&id=74153&key=user_uploads/423512/19ce66c3-4694-41f7-9ef2-0eae0ead7dc4)\n\nWe have a [Slack community that you can join](https://join.slack.com/t/release-ai/shared_invite/zt-20dxgp2o0-ePCXzsag6l8_i4HwOgRItg) to talk about Release AI. Often, the complexities and burden of distributing production or production-like data is an “exercise left to the reader” when looking for providers of environments or a development platform as a service. **Your ephemeral environments are only as good as your data!** At Release we built a version of Instant Datasets, day 1 for this very reason. **We are now making it available as a stand-alone product** for you to incorporate into any local development process, ci/cd pipeline, etc!\n\n![uploaded image](/media/?type=post&id=73732&key=user_uploads/19885/644c642f-b0e7-43a8-b3bb-448466031ba9)\n\n_Dataset with one in use, one starting up, and one available for someone to use_\n\nSetting up and using Instant Datasets is super simple:\n\n✅ **Create a Release Instant Datasets account** [**here**](https://beta.release.com/instantdatasets/register)\n\n✅ **Create a cloud integration**\n\n![](https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/3STD6S6crrkGBxL6aCHoSnwL-IjTFkSst_fhdIYfPD7IMU6WxQOkSDH2iQYJjMINA8Gjn06eLSLryyizQ8G6Rd3ojR6-9mSp7_VlO4qe-D5K4wNKDbmbi7novSesgN36EZMPk9IHdVH-sgNH6D9aPGQ)\n\n_Cloud Integrations are how Release talks to your cloud provider on your behalf_\n\n✅ **Create a dataset**\n\n![](https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/nFZIdkEW320QyNNKumPmVO4iIaqEn2ZFZhTnAS7zqfWzDnmamR_-Rsr07n10EK5sP7rWJVP4BZSH_YYhT0WZlZLkXz4otjEv8t0-8FLRvXTbA2DZwrI7TYmIfynQIgtplP2ngL2OMHSP1XUn0MAIWNo)\n\n_Release lets you control cost, security and performance of you dataset_\n\n🏁 **Checkout a database and use it in your environment for as long as you need it**\n\n![](https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/3DP_hXM8pCFjWAGo6jpK1eKHM3qMu3sWdcPSJWzkTMboho8nI8aFh1HRIfNCplYbGdMgYLhkdgL6s6ixavx597PSOJxByen1wRRsINuj1upAxO1EPuF0S9pW8o1pAxQ99IKqnZzmixt1dd_idPJkVpk)\n\n![](https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/b0SiudL37kwJyHl2_wED4gOGv4GvQcustSeSu4Y_-TIaVTCA6g8GcmJGD1YpCBX3ehZV8n69soCZZDocrcFfV4CTt57Dlp2BiP2wHwMb3jWLeGxuPhIsuYyllHL51bTNdbsIOkjg8n33c48TYO0Wt5U)\n\n_Release provides you with everything you need to connect to your dataset_\n\nWe wrote a 🚀 [quick-start guide](https://docs.release.com/release-instant-datasets/quickstart) and made a 👣 [walkthrough video](https://vimeo.com/849156936) to help you get started.\n\n❓ Although the standalone Instant Datasets has a few limitations compared to the Release platform version, we are actively working on resolving them in the upcoming weeks. Currently, we support RDS and Aurora in AWS, with Google Cloud support coming soon. Additionally, we will be adding the capability to pause databases on a schedule to save resources and money, as well as the ability to cleanse production data before creating a pool of databases. All of these features exist in the Release platform and are being added to the stand-alone product currently.\n\n### Our Ask 🙏\n\n**Please give Instant Datasets a **[**try**](https://beta.release.com/instantdatasets/register)**!** Our customers, as well as the team at Release, have found it incredibly valuable to build and test with production-like data. In fact, it's how we develop all our products, including Release. From the very beginning, we recognized the importance of having production-like data to create the best possible development platform. We would love your feedback. We hope you enjoy using Instant Datasets too! ❤️\n\n— The Release Team",

"tagline": "Massdriver handles the boring parts of cloud infrastructure management and DevOps so your team can focus on building great products.",
"body": "**tl;dr Engineers spend 20-30% of their time reading cloud documentation and fidgeting with tools like Terraform or doing 'ClickOps.' With Massdriver, engineers can provision secure, production-ready cloud infrastructure in minutes without cloud expertise using a simple diagramming interface.**\n\nHey all, we’re Cory, Chris, and David, the team behind [Massdriver.](https://massdriver.cloud) We’re on a mission to radically simplify cloud infrastructure management and ‘DevOps.’\n\n## 😢 The Problem\n\nFor many organizations, DevOps is no longer a set of practices and culture. It’s a separate team with its own backlog slowing down your product development. Software today isn’t simply code on a computer. It’s a series of ~~tubes~~ APIs and services stitched together with YAML, tools like Terraform, and complex IAM rules. A bunch of boring plumbing that is slowing down your feature velocity.\n\n## 🪄 Our Solution\n\nMassdriver is a visual development platform that lets engineers focus on what services they need from the cloud and easily connect them without worrying about implementation details. Massdriver takes care of secret management, provisioning, parity, best practices, and IAM so your team can focus on your product. Our infrastructure and application bundles are open source, so you can modify them as your organization evolves or create your own and extend the platform.\n\n## ⚙ How It Works\n\nDevelopers can quickly connect dozens of pre-built infrastructure and application bundles designed by industry experts to provision secure production-ready infrastructure in minutes. Massdriver focuses on developer needs, not the implementation details of infrastructure, making it easy for developers of any caliber to get great infrastructure instantly.\n\nOur pre-built infrastructure bundles can be forked and modified, and the community can also design their own bundles using Terraform and Helm to extend the platform.\n\n![uploaded image](/media/?type=post&id=66021&key=user_uploads/920899/fea74a72-ac18-49a6-bdc5-f8e8af425525)\n\n## 🚀 Out of This World Features\n\n* Parity management with replication support for infrastructure and applications between regions, environments, and cloud accounts\n* Integrated secret management that injects credentials directly into your applications environment variables\n* Automated principle of least privilege for IAM\n* Dozens of best-practice reference architecture infrastructure bundles to get started, each open-sourced and designed by industry experts\n* Compliance and security scanning for official infrastructure bundles\n* Activity and audit logs of every change to ease your path to compliance\n* Visually compare differences between environments like staging and production or between deployments\n* Integrated alerting and monitoring\n* Application support for containerized and serverless workloads\n* Enterprise-ready deployments for SaaS products - your product in your customer's cloud account today.\n\n## 🙏 Asks\n\nTry it out! Feel free to register on the site and try it out; no credit card is required. If you like it, we have a _stellar_ [deal](https://bookface.ycombinator.com/deals/1318?query=mass) for all YC companies.\n\nJoin us on [GitHub](https://github.com/massdriver-cloud/docs/discussions/9), or DM us on [Twitter](https://twitter.com/massdriver)!\n\nIf you have 10 minutes to chat about Massdriver, please book a time with me [here](https://calendly.com/coryodaniel/10min-intro) 😊",

A wizard scans your repo and instruments it with OpenTelemetry, and re-runs daily to keep your logs, alerts, and dashboards in sync with your code. When something breaks, an agent investigates with full context and posts one mergeable PR per incident into Slack.\n\n<https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AeX3pnHCMHg>\n\n## **The Problem**\n\nArseniy spent years at Datadog, getting paged during the night to debug production incidents. In our first startups, we tried Sentry, Datadog, Grafana, Dash0, and nothing was good enough. \n\n* **Setup never ends.** Proper telemetry takes days of manual work and breaks the moment you ship new features. Half the dashboards end up empty or outdated.\n* **Alert fatigue is constant.** Sentry floods Slack with duplicates and no context. The Saturday #ops ping is the worst feeling of the week.\n* **The bill climbs.** Datadog invoices keep growing while engineers still spend hours configuring dashboards, chasing three AWS metrics that disagree, and copy-pasting stack traces into Claude at 11pm.\n\n## **Our Solution**\n\n**1. Telemetry that sets itself up.** Tell your agent:\n\n```\nRun npx skills add superloglabs/skills --all and use the skills to install Superlog in this project\n```\n\nThis skill instruments your code with native OTel SDKs: proper semantic conventions, service and environment tagging. We cover all failure modes, endpoint performance, usage per tenant, and LLM/upstream cost (by callsite, tenant, and model). We run observability check-ins that keep adding logs, alerts, and dashboards as your code grows.\n\n**2. An agent that investigates and ships PRs.** Errors get prioritised and grouped into incidents. The agent investigates with full context (logs, traces, metrics, recent deploys) and either produces a short tested PR, or posts its findings and pulls in the engineers who own the system (based on docs, prior investigations, Slack threads). One mergeable PR per incident in Slack. Merge it, ignore it, or open it as a Claude Code/Codex session and tweak.\n\n**3. No alert fatigue.** Our custom eval setup makes sure incident summaries in your #ops channel are dense and correct, with severity and impact upfront. Every LLM-enhanced metric ships with a confidence score, so wrong guesses don't get boosted.\n\nThe telemetry you get is vendor-neutral: you keep all the OTel logs, metrics, and traces we install, even if you choose to switch providers.\n\n## **Where We're Going**\n\nEvery engineering team in the world burns nights and weekends debugging production. We want to delete that loop. Observability should install itself, alert intelligently, and fix what it can.\n\n## **About Us**\n\n* **Nicolò (CEO)** — ex-BCG, math olympiad winner, scaled two startups to millions in ARR, with international enterprise contracts at Bluco (McDonald’s, Volkswagen, Dufry, etc).\n* **Arseniy (CTO)** — coding since 12yo, won school olympiads, worked on high-performance data systems at Datadog and built engineering teams from scratch at Bluco.\n\n![uploaded image](/media/?type=post&id=101239&key=user_uploads/1660276/b630a0c3-d186-4f4c-95c0-6832f7893f47)\n\n## **Our Ask**\n\nWe'd love intros to:\n\n* Engineering leaders drowning in Sentry alerts or Datadog bills\n* Startups that rolled their own observability and want to throw it away\n\n**Try it:** [superlog.sh](https://superlog.sh/)\\\n**Email:** [nicolo@superlog.sh](mailto:nicolo@superlog.sh)",
