"long_description": "At Extern, we’re solving the experience gap. Extern created the remote Externship, a skill-building work experience that is easier for students to access, and easier for companies to run, than an internship. Our mission is to help anyone discover and launch their career through professional experiences available anywhere at any time. Since 2020, we’ve created and powered Externships for over 50,000 students on behalf of companies from Fortune 500s to startups. \r\n\r\nAfter spending $100K on average for a 4-year degree, graduates find that almost 40% of entry level jobs on Linkedin required 3+ years of work experience. Internships are how many college students get this kind of experience, but the demand for good internships outstrips the supply. Internship programs are difficult to scale, they favor students who already have social capital, and they’re time-consuming for employers to run.\r\n\r\nExternships are short, online, project-based work experiences that employers can offer to hundreds of students using less resource and employee time than it would take to support an intern. Extern makes the complex process of running an Externship completely turnkey with software and industry experts which in turn makes professional experience more accessible to more students.\r\n\r\nBy making work experience more accessible, Extern is driving the rapid mobility and upskilling needed for a new economy. We envision a world where anyone can access work experience as a form of education – no matter their background, experience, or socio-economic status. Come join our movement to reshape work, education, and credentialing for future generations with the Externship.\r\n\r\nExtern was born out of a pivot from Paragon One (W17) which initially focused on providing students with a career center-as-a-service platform, connecting them with industry professionals to receive career coaching and guidance. Backed by Y Combinator, Foundation Capital, Launch Fund, University Ventures, and Learn Capital.",

"body": "👋 Hey YC!\n\nSarah here — I’m a co-founder at Stable, and we provide companies with a business address and virtual mailbox so they can manage their mail online. \n\nToday we’re thrilled to share that we’ve launched in Texas and Florida (+ with a special deal)! \n\n![uploaded image](/media/?type=post&id=71235&key=user_uploads/89898/eccd3582-fed8-444e-aed8-ab2015d0a242)\n\n**📬 About Stable** \n\nWe launched Stable in the middle of the pandemic when companies were shutting down offices and going fully remote but still needed a physical address to use with the government, IRS, banks, and other vendors.\n\nBut after working with more than 1400 companies like Jeeves, Indiegogo, and Airbyte, we’ve realized that no one likes managing physical mail – whether they’re remote or working out of an office. \n\nSo in addition to helping companies open, view, forward and shred mail online, we’ve built features that save companies dozens of hours every month – from startups that just need a business address to incorporate to growth stage businesses processing 1000s of pieces of mail a month. \n\nHere’s what we’ve launched recently.\n\n* Search across all mail by sender, receiver, or anything on the envelope\n* Auto-scan received mail & auto-deposit checks\n* Get notified when mail is assigned to you or your department\n* Auto-route mail to the right department\n* Control mail access with roles and permissions\n\nNow, we're excited to be able to help even more companies by launching Stable in two highly-requested locations – Texas and Florida! \n\n![uploaded image](/media/?type=post&id=71235&key=user_uploads/89898/c7760542-7fa2-4df6-9c09-9ee48e418428)\n\n💰 **Special Deal**\n\nGet a $25 monthly discount ($300 annual) when you sign up for an address in Texas or Florida with the code “texas” or “florida”.\n\nYou can get your address set up in less than 3 minutes [here](https://dashboard.usestable.com/onboard/begin?utm_source=bookface&utm_medium=post&utm_campaign=fl-tx-launch). \n\nIf you’d like to learn more or have questions, leave a comment, check out our website, or shoot us an email at [hello@useStable.com](mailto:hello@useStable.com).",

Get started [here](https://dashboard.usestable.com/onboard/begin?promoCode=delaware) (more info below). \n\n**Why businesses use Stable:**\n\n🏢 A permanent business address to use with the IRS, government entities, banks, etc\n\n📨 Open, view, forward, and shred your mail securely without physically entering a mailroom\n\n📍 Guidance on compliantly switching your address for taxes, registrations, payroll + more\n\n⚡ Integrations with the tools you love to use (Slack, Drive, etc)\n\n💻 Modern platform with automations, encrypted file storage, optical character recognition, and more\n\nWe make establishing a permanent US business address easy, so you can manage your business from anywhere and never have to worry about changing addresses again. \n\n \n\n### **🏇Why Delaware?**\n\nSince we’ve launched Stable, we’ve had the opportunity to:\n\n\\- Work with 1000s of businesses across the globe\n\n\\- Process tens of thousands of pieces of mail + packages\n\n\\- Deposit millions of dollars in checks\n\n\\- Launch a Registered Agent service in all 50 states\n\nTo date, we haven’t had a great solution for Delaware businesses that want an address where they are incorporated — whether that be because they are completely distributed, based entirely overseas, or something else. Launching in Delaware changes this and allows us to service almost every venture backed startup :).\n\n \n\n### **💰 Special DE Deal**\n\n\\- Use the referral code “Delaware” to get $25 off / month ($300 annually) for your first year \n\n\\- Valid for any new DE customer — redeem [here](https://dashboard.usestable.com/onboard/begin?promoCode=delaware) \n\n\\- Must sign up by July 31, 2022\n\n\\\nIf you’d like to learn more or have questions, leave a comment, check out [our website](https://www.usestable.com/?utm_source=launch-yc&utm_medium=post&utm_campaign=de-launch), or shoot us an email at [hello@useStable.com](mailto:hello@useStable.com) 💌",

In 2022, the Department of Labor estimates there is a global talent shortage of 40 million workers, and that number is expected to grow to over 85 million by 2030. In order for companies to win the war for talent, they need to provide a best-in-class candidate experience to recruit top talent, and our product aims at doing just that!\r\n\r\nOur founders Lydia Han (CEO) and Chris Triolo (CTO) both founded ModernLoop in December of 2020 after they saw the challenges recruiting teams had when it came to coordinating hundreds of interviews across various teams, all while making sure both hiring managers and candidates had the best experience possible. After spending 15+ combined years at companies like Facebook, Slack, Brex and Salesforce, they understood what it took to enable talent teams do their best work, and are building a product to scale alongside them as they grow.\r\n\r\nWe created ModernLoop to serve companies of all sizes in every industry to help Talent teams interview candidates quicker, easier, and enhance productivity of teams as they continue their search for top talent!",

"body": "_**TL;DR:** Kitemaker is a tool that allows you to keep specifications, user feedback, roadmaps, and tasks in one place, providing a better workflow than any collection of product management, documentation, and issue-tracking tools. Is it fast? Yes. Is it simple and easy to use? Absolutely. In addition, it works very well to facilitate collaboration between engineering, design, and product management._\n\nHey!\n\nWe're Kevin and Sigurd, the co-founders of [Kitemaker](https://kitemaker.co/). We built Kitemaker because we felt that the tools we used for project management, collecting feedback, and writing specifications were disconnected. This resulted in engineers, designers, and product managers working in separate silos, making it harder to focus on what truly matters: building things that users want.\n\n# **The problem**\n\nMost YC companies have taken the wisdom of [Michael Seibels' \"Product Development Cycles\"](https://www.ycombinator.com/library/4e-guide-to-product-development) to heart. To reach product-market fit, we need to talk to customers, figure out what they want, build, launch, and then iterate. There are plenty of good tools to collect user feedback, write specification documents, and track tasks/issues.\n\nHowever, it's all disjointed. It’s easy to drop the ball on user feedback, which isn’t connected to the tool where we’re writing specs, which again isn’t connected to our issue tracker. It's easy to become disorganized or spend too much time project managing when we should be spending as much time as possible talking to users and iterating on the product and the messaging.\n\n# **Our solution -** Kitemaker\n\nKitemaker allows you to keep specifications, tasks, roadmaps, and user feedback in one place. We have carefully designed it to provide a better workflow than any collection of product management, documentation, and issue-tracking tools.\n\n![uploaded image](/media/?type=post&id=76035&key=user_uploads/394001/e6a52980-d8ce-450d-9e10-a956b9fe3884)\n\n# **How it works**\n\nThe basic unit in Kitemaker is the work item. It has a document where you can write your specifications and break them into tasks, as well as an activity feed for discussions and to see what is happening across the development tools. We encourage you not to split work items into many small pieces but rather use to-dos to keep track of the tasks. This way, you will be able to focus on what you plan to deliver to your users, rather than individual tasks. Additionally, you will have all the to-dos in the same place as your discussions and specifications, meaning there will be one place to see everything relevant to a new feature or a bug fix.\n\n![uploaded image](/media/?type=post&id=76035&key=user_uploads/394001/b736cb07-b7ca-4c58-adee-c43de4ae3fde)\n\nWhen you receive user feedback, we have a section where you can organize all of it. You can either write the feedback directly in Kitemaker, or you can use our Intercom or Zapier integrations (with more integrations to come). You can select any part of the feedback, capture it as an insight, and link it directly to work items. Since the insights and feedback will be directly linked to the work items, you and your team will know exactly what was said and by whom on the work item screen.\n\n![uploaded image](/media/?type=post&id=76035&key=user_uploads/394001/227b02d1-81c1-44a7-8ba1-7696c42f9183)\n\nThere are many more features and integrations for you to explore, so if you are curious, feel free to check out our [website](https://kitemaker.co/).\n\n# What our users love about Kitemaker\n\n* It's fast, easy to use, and simple to get started with.\n* Work items let you have specs, tasks, and discussions in the same place, making it easy for engineering, design, and product management to collaborate in the same tool.\n* Having user feedback directly connected to the stuff you are working on is incredibly powerful, and the Intercom integration directly syncs conversations into Kitemaker.\n* Our to-dos have everything engineers expect for issues, like git automation, referencing, and metadata, so the hierarchy fits perfectly for teams that focus on shipping awesome stuff to users.\n\n# Asks\n\nWe love all kinds of feedback, so if you are curious about Kitemaker, head over to [https://www.kitemaker.co](https://kitemaker.co/) and give us some feedback when you have tried it.\n\nYou can also join our [community here](https://join.slack.com/t/kitemakerco/shared_invite/zt-e7zjicw1-zbBpvLSRfOFKh3DutUAJ0A), where you can discuss Kitemaker or all things product development.\n\nWe’re also super interested in chatting with people about their product development process. Both to learn how you approach it or just give you some insights into what we have seen talking to many 100s of teams.",

"body": "Hi everyone! We’re Matthew and Curtis, founders of [Whalesync](https://www.whalesync.com).\n\n**Whalesync gives your spreadsheet edit access to data in apps like HubSpot, Webflow, and Supabase.** This way, you can bulk edit, collaborate, or build AI workflows directly from Airtable, Notion, or Google Sheets. It's a little scary... but also super powerful ;)\n\nHere’s a Notion database updating deals directly in HubSpot:\n\n![uploaded image](/media/?type=post&id=85696&key=user_uploads/689259/02e173cf-86dd-4420-ac98-9197be6bbcd8)\n\n### **Why spreadsheets?**\n\nSpreadsheets like Google Sheets, Airtable, and Notion are super flexible, require practically no learning curve, and let you view and update records in bulk.\n\nWhen you connect these tools with your business apps (like your CRM, CMS, or database), you basically get spreadsheet superpowers ✨.\n\n![uploaded image](/media/?type=post&id=85696&key=user_uploads/689259/a269b120-351c-41f1-ae49-576fd317a397)\n\n### **Common use cases**\n\nHundreds of companies, including Webflow, Descript, and Clay, use Whalesync to work faster by:\n\n* **Enriching CRM leads with AI** from a spreadsheet (HubSpot + Notion)\n* Creating **thousands of programmatic SEO pages** from a spreadsheet (Webflow + Airtable)\n* **Creating internal tools** without any engineers (Supabase + Airtable)\n* **Updating deal statuses** from a spreadsheet (Affinity + Google Sheets)\n* Giving clients an **easy way to update projects** (Notion + Google Sheets)\n\n### **How it works**\n\n1. Connect your app and your spreadsheet.\n2. Map the tables and fields you want to sync.\n3. Turn it on, and your data syncs into your spreadsheet. Then you can start editing/creating.\n\n### **Try it out**\n\nWe have a two-week free trial on all of our plans if you want to try Whalesync yourself!\n\nAnd always feel free to shoot us a note if you have questions at 👋 [hello@whalesync.com](mailto:hello@whalesync.com).\n\n**🚀 Try it out here** ——> [**https://www.whalesync.com**](https://www.whalesync.com)\n\n<https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dJtDkem4JQc>",

"body": "**tl;dr** We make it easy to 2-way sync data across tools like Airtable, Webflow, Notion, Postgres, & Bubble. This unlocks powerful use cases like programmatic SEO, no-code apps, ABM pages, and internal tools. You can check out our [free trial here](https://www.whalesync.com/airtable-webflow/choose-connectors)!\n\nHey everyone! We’re Ryder, Matthew, Curtis, Manish, Veneta, and Sean aka the team behind [Whalesync](http://whalesync.com/).\n\n![uploaded image](/media/?type=post&id=68930&key=user_uploads/689259/bc6a3ca8-c31c-4a1b-841c-7c5afd6dc221)\n\n### **The problem: connecting tools is hard**\n\nConnecting apps like Airtable & Webflow enables amazing use cases, but is actually really hard to do without code!\n\nWe started Whalesync because we repeatedly saw people spending weeks architecting multi-step automations only to find them brittle and unreliable.\n\nWhile we love automation tools, they’re really not built to handle true data syncing where you connect deeply and bi-directionally.\n\n![uploaded image](/media/?type=post&id=68930&key=user_uploads/689259/f59ab897-31e7-4717-8c1d-5353077f4f28)\n\n### **The solution: simple, no-code data sync**\n\nWhalesync is the no-code tool built to handle data syncing. In a few minutes, you can hook up your apps and have them 2-way syncing in real-time.\n\n![uploaded image](/media/?type=post&id=68930&key=user_uploads/689259/05a48b3c-e3a4-49cc-870c-9b8564835d98)\n\n### **Use cases: pSEO, internal tools, + much more**\n\nWhalesync works by connecting different tools, so there are a TON of different things you can do. A few of the more popular use cases:\n\n* 🔎 Launch thousands of **programmatic SEO pages** (Airtable x Webflow)\n* ⚒️ Build an **internal tool** on top of your production database (Postgres x Notion)\n* 💻 Create a scalable **no-code app** (Bubble x Airtable)\n* 🧑 Personalize hundreds of tier-1 **ABM landing pages** (Airtable x Webflow)\n* 📝 Manage your **blog** (Notion x Webflow)\n\n### **How it works**\n\n1. Pick the tools you want to sync\n2. Tell Whalesync how the data maps\n3. Turn on sync, we do the rest ✅\n\n![uploaded image](/media/?type=post&id=68930&key=user_uploads/689259/c61a0dd3-5b9f-4be0-aef9-14310076108c)\n\n### **🙏 Asks**\n\n* [Try it out](https://www.whalesync.com/airtable-webflow/choose-connectors) and let us know what you think! Support is great, but feedback is even better as it helps us decide what to build next.\n* Also, let us know if you have any [requests for new connectors](https://jjm01gwpyzn.typeform.com/to/lij7aJhR)! We’ll be building a bunch more this year.\n* If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to my personal email 😄 [matthew@whalesync.com](mailto:matthew@whalesync.com)",

Specifically, we enable our customers:\r\n\r\n1. Receive USD, GBP, EUR payments: Individuals and businesses can receive USD, GBP, and EUR payments into their virtual account.\r\n2. Receive and send stablecoins: They can also receive USDT or USDC, and make global payments via USDT and USDC.\r\n3. Hold funds in USD: They can choose to hold their funds in USD instead of converting to local currency. In high inflation countries, this is extremely desirable as it helps our customers hedge against inflation until they're ready to spend in local currency.\r\n4. Stablecoin-backed cards: We issue cards that are stablecoin-backed and accepted by 150M+ merchants across the globe. Users can fund in stablecoins or fiat, spend anywhere VISA is accepted, and earn cashback in the form of Cleva Points.\r\n5. Savings: We recently launched Cleva Pots, allowing users to save towards their goals and earn yield on their savings.\r\n\r\nIt's still very early days at Cleva. We've been hyper-focused on our home country Nigeria but we're now expanding to more countries across the globe.",

"body": "Greetings, YC community! We are Tolu and Philip, the co-founders of [Cleva](https://www.getcleva.com/).\n\n**tl;dr:** _Cleva makes it easy for freelancers and businesses in emerging markets to get paid for their services and manage their money in USD. We do this by providing USD accounts to receive international payments at very low costs, a debit card to spend, the ability to convert currencies, and the ability to save and earn interest over time. We launched in August 2023 and now process over 4 million dollars monthly for customers while doubling revenue month-over-month._\n\n![uploaded image](/media/?type=post&id=79028&key=user_uploads/1564262/c0929233-d351-4cc5-a419-586ae957dec3)\n\n**The Problem**\n\nDespite the growing number of young remote African workers and businesses serving global partners, international payments and investments in USD are still a complex puzzle for many talented Africans and businesses. This intricate challenge can stifle economic growth and opportunities. We firmly believe that Africans should have an effortless way to receive international payments and manage their finances without paying excessive fees or dealing with local currency fluctuations. This problem is not only relevant; it's a catalyst for empowerment. \n\n**Cleva's Solution**\n\nWe are building an all-in-one platform to enable payments, spending via debit cards, and investments. Our flagship product, launched in August 2023, simplifies payments for remote workers and freelancers in Nigeria. It enables them to establish a Cleva US-based account, effortlessly receive salaries and customer payments, and seamlessly manage their finances, including currency conversion, with remarkable ease. Over the coming months, we will build tools for investments.\n\n![uploaded image](/media/?type=post&id=79028&key=user_uploads/1564262/d34476fb-66ea-425a-b4fb-d3b604fcae1c)\n\n**How We Started**\n\n[Tolu](https://linkedin.com/in/tolu-alabi-08697525) and [Philip](https://linkedin.com/in/abelphilip) have known each other for over 10 years and understand how expensive cross-border transactions are from personal experiences. We also understand how hyperinflation and devaluation of African currencies have diminished the spending power of friends and family. We take this problem personally and want to tackle it head-on to enable prosperity for Africans and others across emerging economies. We believe simplifying how people earn and invest in USD will empower businesses and remote workers across emerging economies.\n\n**Our Ask**\n\n1. Check out [Cleva](https://www.getcleva.com/), sign up for your USD Banking needs, or refer people in the countries we serve today.\n2. Share this post! Please help get the word out. We want more people to know about Cleva and how we add value.\n 1. iOS AppLink: <https://apps.apple.com/us/app/cleva-app/id6473619732>\n 2. Android: Link coming soon. Our progress has been driven by the curiosity to acquire knowledge, the ability to pass it on, and an intrinsic drive to innovate. We build technology which gives us leverage beyond our biology.\r\n\r\nWe stand at the top of a knowledge and technology colossus that we collectively created over the past ten thousand generations. Scientific progress has helped us overcome burdens that long defined human life — famines, plagues, and widespread illiteracy. Science will continue to redefine the boundaries of the human condition.\r\n\r\nToday, the acceleration of scientific progress hinges on one factor: AI capable of independent invention and discovery. This capacity is the gateway to advancements beyond our wildest imagination.\r\n\r\n# A New Research Lab\r\n\r\nWe're starting Ndea — an AI research and science lab. The name - like 'idea' with an 'n' - is inspired by the Greek concepts ennoia (intuitive understanding) and dianoia (logical reasoning), capturing our first goal to merge deep learning with program synthesis.\r\n\r\nNdea is entirely focused on developing and operationalizing AGI to realize unprecedented scientific progress in our lifetime for the benefit of all current and future generations.\r\n\r\nBuilding AGI alone is a monumental undertaking, but our mission is even bigger. We're creating a factory for rapid scientific advancement — a factory capable of inventing and commercializing N ideas.\r\n\r\nFrom our vantage point today, we see many 'known' frontiers like self-driving vehicles, drug discovery, sustainable energy, robotics, and space exploration. While AGI will benefit all of these, the most exciting adventure lies in the 'unknown'. AGI promises discoveries and progress we cannot imagine today.",
