It’s tech that suits today’s operations, manufacturing approaches, and form factors, and we’ve de-risked it to the point where it’s ready to fly. \n\n### **CONTROL THE AIR**\n\n**Thanks to over $2m in backing from the National Science Foundation, the US Air Force, and the Australian Government**, we’ve been able to develop and test our Aerodynamic Flow Control - an active system that pulls more air over the wing when we need it (takeoff and landing), but otherwise adds almost no mass or drag to the aircraft (unlike adding extra propulsion). \n\nBecause we triple the lift only when we need it, we can have smaller wings. Smaller wings mean less drag in cruise, which means much less energy used. \n\n**This is key enabling technology to make electric flight viable.** \n\nOur upcoming large scale flight demonstrator will take to the skies over Australia in early 2026, with a production version to follow. \n\nBest of all, this is universal technology. It’s really hard. \n2. 🔌 **EV charger usage** **and** **return on investment is painfully** **slow**: private chargers can’t be monetized due to security and liability barriers, with public chargers not being set up for long-term, exclusive use.\n\nBy 2030, there are expected to be 9 million electric vehicles in fleets, which, together with public vehicles, requires support from an estimated 40 million new EV chargers. We currently have well under 1 million installed. Most communication is still handled manually.\n\nThis creates two problems. First, teams waste hours on busywork instead of managing operations. Second, the noise makes it nearly impossible to spot issues that need attention until it's too late. A delayed pickup, missing document, or customer escalation only gets noticed when it's already urgent.\n\nThe real complexity isn't in data entry. It's in catching and resolving issues early: rerouting around delays, finding backup capacity, flagging exceptions before they cascade. Carriers need visibility and time to handle what matters, not endless manual updates.\n\nWe sat with dispatchers managing hundreds of shipments a day and saw their inbox and phone effectively act as their task managers.\n\n·   Many handle between 50 and 100 emails per hour, and most of them are repetitive.\n\n·   Teams constantly pull data from emails, PDFs, and portals into their Transport Management System (TMS).\n\n·   They often jump between ten or more tools that don't communicate properly with each other.\n\nCompanies end up paying skilled employees to move data between tools instead of running logistics\n\n**Our solution:**\n\nLunavo integrates into a carrier's existing systems as an AI teammate. When a new order arrives, it automatically extracts details, updates the TMS, and confirms with the customer. Dispatchers see: \"New order from Customer X confirmed and scheduled.\"\n\n**The system handles routine work while monitoring for exceptions** like delayed pickups, missing documents, or customer escalations, surfacing issues before they become urgent. It understands task dependencies and escalates only what needs human judgment.\n\nBecause logistics workflows often depend on implicit knowledge, our system can understand customer workflows and adapt to it. Our agents self-improve through dispatcher feedback, company documentation, and user-defined rules, automatically adapting to each customer's unique requirements without manual reconfiguration.\n\nLunavo manages to understand incoming documents, extract relevant information, challenges the inputs on plausibility and integrates them into the TMS.
